The DIALED-RC Version 3 tire is a mini pin of random sized and shaped pins, with large L & Bowtie center pins to cut through even the thickest dust.
Designer Gene 'the machine' Hickerson had this to say:
V3- This tire is a popular small pin of various shapes and sizes that all major tire brands have a version of. My goal was to simply make it have more forward traction on dusty grooves, still be good in the bumps, and work good even as the tire wears out. I feel we achieved that with the large center pins, round carcass shape, and pin spacing. My first test with these was on a very dusty low to medium grip blue groove. They gave me the fastest lap times of the day by easily clearing all of the double jumps coming out of turns with incredible forward acceleration. I think we hit the nail on the head with this one. Don't forget that these are directional tires, so take care when gluing them up. Use the zigzag like on the outside for bumpy and dust free grooves. Use Zigzag inside for more steering on slick or dusty grooves.
DIALED-RC V9 Tires are Directional!
The DIALED-RC Version 9 tire is a bar/pin hybrid tire designed for low dust blue grooves. They can be used indoors and outdoors.
Designer Gene 'the machine' Hickerson had this to say:
V9- This is our indoor bar tire that was designed to also work outdoors on low dust blue grooves. The bar and pin placement has been strategically placed to provide support and massive acceleration, while still maintaining traction off line and on slightly dusty surfaces. These should be good on bumpy blue grooves as well. Be aware that this is a directional patterns so take care when mounting them to the wheels. The Line on the sidewall outside will smooth out steering. Running the Line inside will give more side bite traction and more steering on dusty surfaces.
